In this book Peter Levine explains differing nervous system states, why our bodies come into those states, what the purpose of these states are, and how to feel goodness in your body again. A great introduction to understanding trauma in the body.

Molecules of Emotion, By Candace B. Pert, Ph.D
As a scientist who discovered the opiate receptor and went on to a lifetime of discovery with peptides, Candace Pert was also a fan of alternative therapies and set out to explain why she thinks these therapies work. In this highly readable book, Candace Pert mixes her own story of discovery with the science behind emotions. Literally, that emotions are real life tangible molecules that stream in our bodies all the time. She encourages others to explore their own emotions, believing that emotions are worth exploring, feeling, and are critical to our health and wellbeing.

Do I feel met? “. This book is for adults, particularly couples. Weather or not you are currently in a relationship, this readable book is filled with information, step by step how to’s, examples, and allows for some pretty great relief. Relief that the world is not always divided into goodies and baddies. That at the end of the day, we want to love and be loved. And that is ok.

Pelvic Pain Explained – What you need to know, Stephanie A Prendergast and Elizabeth H. Akincilar
There are a lot of people suffering from pelvic pain. This super practical book is easy to read, gives a ton of practical advice, and allows for hope that relief is possible. It allows for less helplessness as it puts the reader in the driver’s seat of their own health.
